The Beer-lesque & Carniv-ale Show 2018 Costume Contest Judges are:
1) Sarah Noble (Railway City Tourism)
Representing our Presenting Sponsor, Railway City Tourism is Sarah Noble. In her personal time, Sarah attends and participates in many cosplay events, giving her a great sense of appreciation for the work and creativity that goes into making the perfect outfit. We are delighted to have Sarah as one of this year’s judges for our Steampunk Costume Contest!
2) Norah Spades (The Vaudevillian)
Norah Spades is a true artist! As the lead singer of the band The Vaudevillian, Norah knows all about performance & flair, and she has an excellent sense of style. What better judge for a steampunk contest than an artist who knows a good performance when she sees one? So, pull out your best character and show Norah your own performance skills!
3) Paul Corriveau (Railway City Brewing)
Beer-lesque & Carniv-ale is not just about steampunk, it’s also about beer! So we’ve invited our very own St. Thomas brewery owner, Paul Corriveau to be one of the judges for this year’s contest. Though Paul may not have as trained an eye for costume-making as some of our other judges, he is a great judge of branding and design! We welcome Paul to our panel of costume critics!
4) Steven Brown
Steven & Nicole Brown are owners of Costumes Canada, and are old hats when it comes to costumes-making. As an expert maker, Steven knows all about custom made costumes, props & prosthetics. We are excited to have Steven as one of our judges for this year’s costume contest!
On May 26th, fill out a contest entrant form and allow our judges to determine the best costumes!
(Please note, participants must be present at the event at least 30 minutes before the contest begins).
